Does It Hurt Getting A Tattoo?

Yes, it hurts. Some areas hurt more than others and it’s different for each customer depending on where they are more sensitive. A lot of clients ask about numbing creams. There are a lot of creams on the market. Be aware that many of these creams wear off during the tattoo and then it can feel hurt more than it would have without the cream. You can get some creams from your doctor, others you can get online.

Can I Get Tattooed If I’m Pregnant?

No, absolutely not. Please plan on this after birth is over and a few weeks later.

How Will I Know If your Tattoo Studio Is Clean And Safe?

We do have a health department license and we must and do abide by the rules and regulations of the health code and follow aseptic techniques. Aseptic technique means using practices and procedures to prevent contamination from pathogens. It involves applying the strictest rules to minimize the risk of any  infection.

Can I Choose My Artist And Can I See His Or Her Work?

Yes, of course. You can see some of artists portfolios on our website and social media platforms. It is best to come to our studio and review their work and meet our artists. This can depend on the type of tattoo that you want and also your comfort level with meeting the artists. The choice is yours!

Are Tattoos Safe These Days?

Yes, if you go to a diligent and reputable tattoo artist that is following all recommended safety precautions. Make sure you’re completely honest to your tattoo artist regarding any medical condition you may have or if you have a history of passing out or have a very low pain tolerance. We always recommend getting a good night sleep, having a full meal and some sugar before getting a tattoo to alleviate dizziness, nausea, and to increase your pain tolerance.

The process of healing can take typically from 2 to 4 weeks, but this varies depending on the size and location of the tattoo, as well as post-procedural care and treatment.

It is essential to follow the tattoo artist’s instructions and recommendations, which usually include keeping the area clean, applying a special cream, and avoiding sun exposure or bathing or immersion in water for a period.
